It is based at the University of Melbourne, and is a joint venture of the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Economics and Commerce, and the Melbourne Business School. The Centre for Media and Communications Law (CMCL) is a centre for research, discussion and teaching of media and communications law and policy, also based at the University of Melbourne.
