Add to ORKGThe main objective of this study was to make a detailed description on the focus systems of Jijiga Somali; therefore, the focused area of the study was the Jijiga zone in the Somali regional state. To collect the data, five informants were selected from native speakers of the language using purposive sampling method. The data collecting instruments were elicitation, interview, focus group discussion and text recording. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive linguistics methodology.
