Michigan 48109 This document reports an assessment of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) dissemination of technical information for the research, development, and demonstration projects i t sponsors in the field of human-oriented highway safety. A representative group of 181 projects is examined and data are presented on the availabili ty and accessibi l i ty of technical reports of study results produced by the performing contractors. Findings indicate gaps in NHTSA1s dissemination practices as of the time the study data were assembled (March 1979).
