and Computer Science There is in the modelling of physical systems a representation referred to as bond graph. This representation, devised at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), takes into account energy interactions between systems and subsystems as well as the causality of the interactions between these systems. This thesis presents a graphical application which allows users to build models of physical systems using the bond graph representation.
