Alberta, for providing funds for the completion of this research. A new way of thinking about intelligence has emerged. It conceptualises intelligence as a composite of four cognitive processes: Planning, Arousal Attention, Simultaneous and Successive Processes (PASS). This study reports an Oriya adaptation of the meas-ures that assess the 4 cognitive processes. Three hundred and fifty children in Grades 1 to 11 were administered the Oriya adaptation. Means, standard deviation and devel-opmental growth curves for the 8 tests ofPASSprocesses were obtained.
