Background/Objectives: Medicinal plants play an important role in human health. A large number of plants have claimed for hepatoprotective potential. The aim of this study was to assay the hepatoprotective potential of hydro alcoholic extract of Artemisia aucheri on Carbon tetrachloride induced hepatotoxicity in rats. Materials and methods: Hydro alcoholic extract of Artemisia aucheri at dose of 150, 300 and 600 mg/kg administered on rats for 28 days. The hepatoprotective effect was assessed by serum biochemical tests such as alaine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase, total bilirubin, total protein and albumin.
