Developing a Neighborhood Electric Vehicle Program

Neighborhood Electric Vehicles (NEVs) are classified as low-speed vehicles which have been permitted on roadways where the posted speed limit is 35 mph or less. These vehicles have become increasingly popular as people become more aware of the benefits of electric vehicles. There has also been a growing trend to incorporate these electric vehicles as public transit circulator systems.
