Abstract. Temperature field analysis of laser micro-drilling is a nonlinear transient thermal conduction problem with phase changing. In this paper, first the temperature field is simulated with ANSYS finite element analysis software, thus obtaining a three-dimensional temperature field distribution. By analyzing the temperature values of the laser irradiated surfaces, with holes having different diameters, depths and directions, we obtained the law that the temperature varying with time.
