Dominant fractions of wastewater effluent organic matter (EfOM) were changed from polysaccharides (PS) to polyhydroxyaromatics (PHA), throughout the constructed treatment wetland connected to a wastewater treatment plant, as measured using pyrolysis gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (Py-GC/MS).
