A survey was undertaken with staff from the head office of a major multinational company, about their attitudes towards alcohol con-sumption and their own level of use. After reporting some of the main findings, a model is presented for discussion which purports to explain how such behaviour may arise and be maintained via the interaction of a number of factors operating at different levels of their social and personal environment
