The effect of annealing at the final step in the sample preparation on the fabric structures of the Y-Ba-Cu-oxide is studied by the use of an electron microscope. Two specimens are examined; One is annealed for two days and has higher quality in the superconductivity and the other is annealed for one day and has not so high quality. Differences are found in the amount of amorphous materials contained in the specimens, in twin lamellar patterns in the YBajCuj-oxide crystal, and in the features of the crystal defects. These differences may contribute to the quality of the superconductivity.
