The paper discusses the application of the object-oriented analysis principles, such as a hierarchy, inheritance, polymorphism in the structural synthesis of mathematical models of rotating electrical machines. The results allow to dynamically synthesize arbitrary mathematical models of electric machines on the stage of its design and carry out an analysis of electromagnetic transients
