Brazos Valley Research Associates (BVRA) conducted a Phase I archaeological survey for the Riverside Water Supply Corporation (WSC) Huntwood Plant Project under Antiquities Permit 6357. The project area is 0.5 acre in size. William E. Moore was the Principal Investigator, and he supervised the survey No new sites were found, and it is recommended that construction be allowed to proceed as planned. The site is viewed as a low probability area because of its distance to the nearest major stream (1070 meters) and a shallow sandy mantle.
