A cultural resources survey of a portion of the Smith Point 3-D seismic project in Chambers County, Texas was performed by Brazos Valley Research Associates (BVRA) in May and June of 2006. Fifteen source points selected for drilling by Yuma Exploration and Production Company of Houston, Texas in high probability areas were shovel tested. No archaeological sites were found, and no artifacts were collected.
