ackground: Female sex workers (FSW) have the highest need for sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services but face limited access. The DIFFER (Diagonal Interventions to Fast-Forward Enhanced Reproductive health) project aims at improving access by better linking targeted interventions with the general health services. At baseline, where FSW usually seek general and specific SRH care was assessed at 3 sites: Durban, South Africa, Mombasa, Kenya, and Mysore, India. Methods: Using respondent-driven sampling (RDS), 400 FSW were recruited in Durban and Mombasa and 458 in Mysore between 2012-2013.
