This doctoral thesis offers a first edition, with transcriptions, translations and commentaries, of twenty-four Greek papyri from the Oxyrhynchus collection of the Egypt Exploration Society. These are known literary and documentary texts, assigned to the Roman and Byzantine periods. On the literary side, there are two sections: one with Demosthenica, four papyri of Demosthenes (orr. LVI, LVII) and four of speeches transmitted in the Demosthenic corpus but probably by Apollodoros, the son of Pasion ([Dem.] orr. XLIX, LIX); and another with two fragments of the Life of Aesop, an anonymous work of popular fiction.
