from the herbarium of LJU was performed in the context of the masters´s thesis. The group includes three species of forget-me-nots, namely M. alpestris, M.suaveolens and M. stenophylla. Only the species M. alpestris s. str. was known for the territory of Slovenia. Acording to the distribution of the species in the neighboring countries we assumed that in the area of Snežnik also M. suaveolens is present and M. stenophylla may be present on the border area with Austria. The size of the pollen grains of all specimens from the herbarium sheets was measured and also 41 morphological characters were selected.
