In Slovenia, regular elementary school programmes integrate children with special needs. Within the scope of a regular education programme, such children receive professional and teaching assistance with adjustments. It is not known whether parents and children are pleased with the existing educational system and implementation of educational process, which is why we inquired about their opinions and current experiences as well as their proposals for improving the system.
