The objective of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the functioning of Local Action Groups in whole South Bohemian Region and confirm the hypothesis, that Local Action Groups can expediently develop South Bohemian rural area, based on appropriate research of their activities until now and prediction of future state in new programme period. In the theoretical part will be defined the term rural area and briefly defined the territory within the South Bohemian Region. Also it will include definition of Local Action Group and LEADER method. In the practical part there will be in detail demonstrated the benefit of Local Action Groups for development of South Bohemian Region, briefly clarified the LAG evaluation system, based on the questionnaire...
