The use of information systems in public administration - the town of Jičín

The main objective of this thesis is the analysis of the use of information systems at the Municipal Office of the town of Jičín. Secondary targets include definition of standards of the use of information systems in public Administration, characterization of the evolution of the use of information systems at the office in Jičín and draft measures to improve the quality of the use. The theoretical part is focused on search available special scholar resources and valid legislation. The practical part consists of interviews with employees of the Municipal Authority Jičín and its clients, and simultaneously deals with the information systems of the office. The conclusion is formulated on the base of synthesis of theoretical and practical parts
