Assessment of income and expenditure for selected municipalities

Summary This thesis is focused on the analysis of revenues and expenses of two municipalities in Královéhradecký region. The aim of the thesis is analyze revenues and expenses of municipalities Rychnov nad Kněžnou and Borohradek in a time series of five years, from 2010 to 2014. The first part of thesis is literature review, which focuses on the community as the basic element of local government, budget and budget process and the breakdown of incomes and expenses. The main part is the practical part, where the first two municipalities characterized and described their economic indicators. Afterwards they are analyzed individual items of revenue including grants and individual expenditures. In conclusion are given recommendations to improve the economy of both municipalities
