The work deals with different functions for Workers and the success of trade unions in enterprises. The first part deals with the characteristics of the market, the definition of trade unions, the history of the trade union movement, the position of trade unions in the Czech Republic. The second part will focus on the position of trade unions in a selected company and subsequent draft resolution. The aim this diploma thesis is to identify the activities of trade unions. Role of Trade Unions in the present. Activities of trade unions to apply economic theory and bring a real trade union influence on economic entity in the Czech Republic.
