Bachelor thesis entitled Environmental education and awareness in the House children and youth capital city of Prague is divided into three basic parts. In the first part of the was mapped area of environmental education and awareness, which is an overview of the history, basic objectives, forms and methods of environmental education. The second part was mapped the history of the House children and youth capital city of Prague and the current state of environmental education in this school equipment. The third part contains a survey to assess ensure environmental education in other the houses children and youth and subsequent processing of proposals that would lead to improving the state of the environmental education in the house children and youth of capital city Prague
