Evaluation of conflicts of motor vehicles with the game on the road in hunting area Kostelní Bříza

To cope with elaboration of this thesis was first necessary to write a literature review dealing with an issues of landscape fragmentation caused by the construction of roads and the subsequent impact of transport on the population of animals, traffic intensity and an overview of accidents caused by animals, the behavior of animals in contact with a road surface, an overview of traffic accidents, categorization of territory in terms of migration and measures for reducing the barrier effect and mortality. After writing a literature review the field survey focused on the characteristics of the safety features on the roads documentation was carried out and an evaluation of the development of motor vehicles conflicts with animals in an area of interest, followed by the definition of the most dangerous locations in the area was carried out on the basis of statistical reports of accidents to police. Based on the results preventive measures that would prevent or at least partially eliminated a collision of vehicles with animals were proposed
