Pluvial and climatically favorable years 1770-1773

The purpose of this thesis is to offer a complex picture of climate change during a short fourth pluvial period and its impact on humankind. Since there are countless number of sources and literature for every particular state, I focused mainly on a summary for the Czech Republic and touched on its neighboring countries. For a better comprehension of the whole picture of contexts, I have also mentioned Little Ice Age period, where the third and the fourth pluvial period belong to, and its possible causes and causes of the climate change in general in the beginning of the thesis. In its final part the thesis has evaluated the impact of this period on humankind. The purpose of the thesis is to draw credible consequences from the available sources for the analysed territory
