CNC centres for machining technology of thermally modified wood

This bachelor work offers a comprehensive overview of topics concerning CNC machine tools and machining thermally modified wood. The main objective of the work is familiarization with new trends in the timbering industry, among which CNC machines and thermally modified wood belong. The work is divided chronologically covering historical progress as well as development of NC and CNC machines, basic terminology, the working conditions and workplace with installed CNC machines up to the construction. It also addresses inclusion of CNC machines into the hierarchy of the company, technological preparation of production, and the working area of the machine.
