Staff Adaptation in Selected Company

The diploma thesis is focused on the employee adaptation process in selected company, Plzeňský Prazdroj Inc. The theoretical section of the diploma thesis provides the knowledge gained from the study of professional literature. The theoretical part particularly reflects the insights concerning HR work, HR management and employee adaptation. The practical part describes the adaptation process of new employees in the Prazdroj brewery. The main objective of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the adaptation process of new employees in Prazdroj brewery on the basis of empirical research. The data needed to meet the objectives were gained from internal documents of the company Plzeňský Prazdroj, a. s., through interviews with an employee of the HR department and through implementation of the questionnaire survey. In the final part of the diploma thesis the results of this survey were used to set up a proposal that aims at improving the effectiveness and the current state of the adaptation process in the Prazdroj brewery
