Roof Structure of a Swimming Pool

The aim of the Bachelor thesis is to design steel roof structure of 25 m long swimming pool and his relaxation area. The building have a saddle roof and roof structure consist of pin-supported truss girders on a columns. This truss girders have a parabolically curved lower chord. Plan of the building design have dimensions of 45,5 × 30,0 m where the one of a front wall is rounded with radius of 15 m. The height of the ridge is 10 m. The truss girders are designed of hot-rolled square hollow sections. Columns are of HEB section and the design of purlins is based on a optimalization. The cladding consist of sandwich panels
