Assessment of the capacity of the stream Brušovecký potok in the urban area

The thesis deals with the assessment of the current state of Brušovecký potok riverbed in the urban area of Herálec and its revetment, as well as determining its capacity. Section of interest is located in km 0.000 - 0.3221. Another aim of the thesis is to design adjustments of the Brušovecký potok in order to increase its capacity and provide flood protection to the urban area. Prior to designing the measures the least favorable levels of Brušovecký potok were analyzed. Based on the analysis the type of calculation for designing the measures was chosen. All hydro-mechanical calculations were performed using the HEC-RAS programme version 4.1.0
