The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is the design of steel loadbearing structure of the hangar for small planes, situated at the locality of the Brno airport. As the basic material was chosen steel S355. The plan of the object is rectangular with the dimensions 42,0 m x 36,0 m and the height of the building in the middle of its span is 13,9 m. The supporting structure of the roof is formed by a system of truss girder. The distance between each crosslink is 4 m. The spatial ridigity is provided by transverse and longitudinal stiffeners.
