Add to ORKGThe main target is to design and assess the steel structure of a tennis hall. The steel structure is rectangular shaped, single-nave, with a 24 m span and 48 m length (without hanging gable walls). An analysis of two solutions of the supporting structure was performed. The first variant is a pin-supported truss girder connected to columns fixed in the transverse direction and an alternative is a frame construction. Both variants were compared and the amount of steel was found. The selected option was developed in greater detail
