INDONESIA: Pada saat ini marak terjadi kejahatan perdagangan melalui internet sehingga faktor kepercayaan menjadi hal yang sangat penting dalam transaksi online shopping. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kepercayaan diantaranya yaitu risiko dan harga. Risiko dianggap lebih tinggi dalam pembelian secara online dikarenakan terbatasnya kontak fisik konsumen terhadap produk, sehingga konsumen tidak dapat melakukan pengawasan kinerja produk sebelum melakukan pembelian.
