Conventional sanitation technologies based on pit lavatories and flush toilets cannot solve the problem of waste water managements in urban setting which mostly comprises with poor water systems infrastructures. Therefore this study aimed to assess the extent of application and acceptability for Eco-San toilets technologies among the urban community in solving the existing and emerging sanitation problems in Dar es Salaam urban.
