Within the yearly Italian Report on Migrations (2015 edition) realized by the ISMU Foundation – the main Italian scientific institution on migrations and interethnic cohabitation – this chapter focuses the attention on migrants’ insertion in the Italian labor market. It illustrates the characterizing features of migrant labor demand’s and supply’s, focusing the attention on the impact of the crises. Finally, it presents a synthesis of the findings of a recent research-project, implemented with the aim of overcoming the main weaknesses of the Italian and European model of integration. The contribution is also available in the Italian version (see: “Il lavoro”, XXI Rapporto ISMU sulle migrazioni
