This work examines the effects of the magnetic field and of the temperature on the steady mixed convection in the fully developed flow of a micropolar fluid filling a vertical channel under the Oberbeck–Boussinesq approximation. The two boundaries are considered as isothermal and kept either at different or at equal temperatures. The velocity, the microrotation, the temperature and the induced magnetic field are analytically obtained. A selected set of pictures illustrating the influence of various parameters involved in the problem (the coupling parameter, the micropolar parameter, the Hartmann number and the buoyancy coefficient) is presented and discussed. Moreover, the results obtained for the micropolar flow are compared with the corre...
