ANALISIS PENGGUNAAN- RASIO KEUANGAN UNTUK MENDUGA PERTUMBUHAN LABA BANK ASING DI INDONESIA

The health level of a bank can be observed from several indicators. One main indicator. which may be used as the evaluation base, is the bank’s financial report. Razed on the report, the financial ratio, which is commonly used as the base for evaluating the health level of a bank, can be calculated. This study aims at finding out the financial, which are measured by CAMEL (Capital, Assets. Management, Earnings, Liquidity ratio, may significantly influence the growth of profit and providing inputs for the banking management and the society, who are users of foreign banks, in order to find out which financial ratios that ore most influencing in predicting the growth of the bank's profit and the banking finance. The analyzed financial ratio is beneficial for setting up the bank rating accurately. The secondary data used in this study is the financial reports of the bank covered in the Indonesian Bank Directory. The samples used in this study are 10 foreign banks operating in Indonesia. This study uses bi-variate correlation analysis (Pearson's product moment) and multiple regression analysis. Ri-variate correlation analysis quantifies the proximity of relation among the data results having two variants pi-variate). Multiple regression analysis is used for .forecasting purpose. where there are dependent and independent variables. The result of this study is an earnings ratio (the profit before taxes compared to the total asset), which sign financial influences the growth of profit. This study has several limitation, which amongst all is that only 7 rim are used as independent variables. Other ratios used by Bank Indonesia cannot be ,fully used because of the unavailability of data. Economic factors, such as inflation, interest rate, government subsidy and so on, have not yet been considered in this study. Those, factors may influence the way the company conducts its business. which then influences the analysis result of this study. A financial report has a limitation, too. Each company has different method and policy. which is difficult to be compared and contrasted in the resulted ,financial report
