Short subject. Posted Online: June 04, 2013Epithelial ingrowth has been reported extensively as a result of some corneal procedures and secondary to trauma. The authors describe a case of epithelial ingrowth most likely caused by a limbal stay suture used during strabismus surgery. The pathophysiology of epithelial ingrowth and its differential diagnosis of fibrous downgrowth are discussed.Katja Ullrich, Deepa Taranath, Theresa Case
