The goals of the survey were to evaluate the status of integrated pest management (IPM) programs in NYS public elementary and secondary schools, provide guidance for research and outreach activities to assist schools in improving pest management, gauge changes since a similar survey in 2001, and ascertain the impacts of the state’s Pesticide Neighbor Notification Law (NNL) and the Child Safe Playing Fields Act
