In this book we have asked prominent members of the membrane technology to appraise the current development of membrane fabrication methods and how these are used in the optimisation of membrane applications. To that ends we have split the book into three sections, fabrication processes for (1) polymeric membranes (2) inorganic membranes and (3) composite membranes, this covers the fabrication of all membrane types and will provide the reader with a wealth of information that can be used to optimise the fabrication of a membrane for application by the membrane technologist
