This work aimed to evaluate the feasibility and relevance of chain models for the estimation of air pollution related to traffic at different scales. The project was first led to the creation of a state of the art modelling tools of different phenomena (traffic, emissions , atmospheric dispersion, stormwater) , putting highlight the difficulty of integration models , because many questions related to spatio-temporal scales, domains of validity, consistency among models and interfaces between models remain open. This state of the art has two chains modelling, static and dynamic approaches.
