EURONOISE 2015, MAASTRICHT, PAYS-BAS, 01-/06/2015 - 03/06/2015This work introduces an approach for calculating dynamic noise maps on the basis of fixed as well as mobile sound measurements. The proposed approach extends the temporal and spatial resolution of the traditional noise map that is based on long-term equivalent levels, and is therefore well suited for the prediction of indicators that are more closely related to the perception of the acoustic quality of the urban environment. The approach uses a model based interpolation technique, and accounts for the presence of sources that are generally not considered in noise maps.
