Papers, Abstracts, and Proceedings of the Second Annual Himalayan Policy Research Conference

Nepal Study Center conducted its Second Annual Himalayan Policy Research Conference at the University of Wisconsin’s pre-conference venue of the 36th South Asian Conference on October 11, 2007. The conference was organized in seven sessions, running simultaneously in two rooms during the entire day. A wide range of topics were covered such as: environment, poverty, inequality, conflict, natural resources, GIS, land use, remittance, ethnicity and gender. Most papers presented in the conference were driven by analytical approach but with deep policy implications.
