Highly responsive, smaller and lighter ferro-piezoelectric materials have a great potential for piezoelectric applications, such as in the field of vibrational energy harvesting. It is thus particularly challenging to maintain good piezoelectric properties while reducing the physical dimensions of ferroelectric nano-objects.
