How to read a poem: On the problem of understanding of poetry in secondary schools

Mezi studenty středních škol většinou převažuje nezájem o poezii. Jednou z vad může být i styl výuky. Tato práce si klade za cíl didakticky vymezit, jak poezii vykládat. Má navrhnout metody, které by mohly právě zájem o poezii zvýšit. Hlavním měřítkem bude opuštění dějinného výkladu a zaměření se na text samotný. Jen skrze interpretování a kritické myšlení je možné ve studentovi probudit zájem. A tato práce bude chtít nabídnout nový pohled na výkladovou složku literatury, která se učí na středních školách.Among high school students usually prevails disinterest in poetry. One of the defects may be teaching style. This work aims to didactically define how to interpret poetry. To propose methods that might just increase interest in poetry. The main measure will be the abandonment of historical interpretation and focus on the text itself. Only through interpreting and critical thinking can arouse interest in the student.
