El comportamiento electroquímico de la dependencia de la oxidación de la dopamina (DA) con el pH fue estudiado usando un electrodo de carbón vítreo modifi cado electroquímicamente (CVMEQ) en medio ácido, usando la técnica de voltamperometría cíclica (VC) variando la velocidad de barrido de potencial. Se encontró que el potencial redox de la DA es inversamente proporcional al pH, lo cual indica que la DA sufre un proceso de deprotonación. A medida que aumenta el pH, la reacción electroquímica de oxidación de la DA se va haciendo más reversible.
