Estimating the effect of entrepreneur education on graduates’ intention to be entrepreneurs

In line with national transformation, Malaysia sees entrepreneurship as a catalyst to transform the country from a middle-income to a high-income economy by 2020 (Yeng Kiat and Shuhymee, 2012).Thus, it is not surprising that academicians, practitioners and policymakers need to increase their efforts to cultivate the entrepreneurial mindset among the society (Davey et al., 2011). For instance, Malaysian public universities such as Universiti Utara Malaysia, have developed niche areas of research and teaching in entrepreneurship and offers a bachelor program in entrepreneurship since 2004 (Zuhairah, et al., 2014; Berma, et al., 2012; and Malaysia Qualification Register (MQR), 2009)
