Designing structures against fire is constantly attracting more attention and significance. Uncontrolled fires can cause huge injuries, fatalities and economic loss hence providing a system to control fires is of great importance in engineering practice. At present, the construction industry has shown significant interest in the use of foamed concrete as a building\ud material due to its many favourable characteristics such as lighter weight, durable and cost effective. Foamed concrete has so far been used principally as a filler material in civil engineering works. However, it's excellent thermal and fire resistance performance indicates its strong potential as a material in building construction.\u
