Polymer modified mortar has been widely used as a material for major construction projects due to the fact that the combination of polymer and cement-based materials shows numerable enhancements in cement composite materials, particularly in durability aspect. However, the extensive use of this promising material may be hampered because of not enough published data on its engineering and durability performance. In addition, the curing/hardening conditions for both materials differ\ud significantly although they are mixed to form a single entity.\u
