This study aimed to explore the relationships between parental marital relationship and children's resilience, mental health, and well-being. Participants were 1106 Malaysian children age 11. They responded to a questionnaire on self-esteem, self-efficacy, optimism, mental health, well-being, emotional intelligence, parental relationship and conflict, and parent-child attachment style. Findings indicated that: (1) parental marital status had significant effects on children's mental health and well-being; (2) parent-child attachment style had significant effects on children's mental health, well being, and academic performance; and (3) emotional intelligence and self-efficacy mediated the links between parental relationship and conflict and ...
