This propeller was built in 1965 by Davie Shipbuilding, Lauzon, Canada. She was owned by N. M. Paterson & Sons, Fort William, Ontario. She sustained bow damage from an undetermined source in fall 1976, arrived at Port Colborne, Ontario for repairs on November 11. She was caught in storm in Lake Erie north of Fairport Harbor on April 6, 1979 and her cargo shifted, causing dangerous list that required her crew to be removed by helicopter. She was taken in tow by tugs "Atomic" and "Glenbrook" the next day, but grounded April 8 on Pelee Island. She was freed on April 13, 1979 and proceeded to Windsor for offloading and inspection before proceeding to Port Weller Dry Docks for repairs
